Media appearances are a common occurrence for pro-life advocate and recent college grad Lila Rose. Join host Mike Farris on today’s Home School Heartbeat as he interviews Lila about the importance of speaking out.

Mike Farris:
Today we welcome Lila Rose, who’s the president of LiveAction. Lila, you are an outspoken activist—you’ve launched undercover investigations of Planned Parenthood that have set the world on fire. And you now are speaking out to expose the pro-abortion agenda. How important is it for Christian young people to verbalize what they believe and what are some tools to help them do that?

Lila Rose:
It is so important for Christians—for young Christians—to stand up for life and to speak out boldly but lovingly to their church community, to their friends, in their workplace. Jesus Christ instructs us to love the least of these, and whatever we do to the least of these, we to do Him; and that’s our unborn brothers and sisters. So as young people, we’re called to, first of all, know more, learn more, educate ourselves about abortion, about right to life, about how to discuss it, how to debate it. Number two, use materials—videos, magazines; this is LiveAction’s area, that we provide resources in, liveaction.org—share these with your communities, give pro-life presentations. Number three, make sure you’re politically involved and aware, make sure you’re fighting to elect politicians that are going to stand up for life, and at working toward personhood in your state so that we protect the unborn child from the beginning of his or her biological development.
