Mike Farris:
Lila, you are dedicated to building a culture of life and ending abortion. What advice can you give to teens who want to stand up against abortion in their communities?
Lila Rose:
Three things. First of all, educate yourself. Become a better person—pray, and educate yourself. Learn about the issues of abortion, learn how to debate the issues, learn the facts, learn the history. Number two, reach out to your church community, and to your community in general, with pro-life information and literature; that’s something LiveAction can provide on our website for free at liveaction.org. And number three, get politically involved. So get culturally involved, get spiritually involved, but get politically involved. Vote for pro-life presidents, support only pro-life legislators, and make sure that we’re building a legal system that protects the unborn child.
Mike:
Lila, can you, in 20 seconds, tell us what’s wrong with Planned Parenthood?
Lila:
Well, it could take a lot longer, but Planned Parenthood, ultimately, is the biggest abortion chain; they kill over 300,000 children every year, and are deceiving women, deceiving young people, and basically setting up an institution that disrespects human life across our country and our world. It’s so important that we expose them and we educate other people with the truth about their activities.
