Mary Ostyn and her high school sweetheart are homeschooling parents of 10 children, the oldest two of whom are married and the youngest of whom is in first grade. Six of her children were adopted, from Ethiopia and Korea. Ostyn’s first book, A Sane Woman’s Guide to Raising a Large Family, was published in 2008. Her second book, Family Feasts for $75 a Week, was featured on Good Morning America as one of the best cookbooks of 2009. Mary blogs at http://owlhaven.net.
