America has always prided herself as being a nation that stands for religious freedom, but are Christians now facing an unfair bias in our country? This week on Home School Heartbeat Brad O’Leary joins host Mike Farris to discuss the issues facing Christians today.

My guest this week is my good friend Brad O’Leary. Brad is the author of 15 books, he’s the publisher of the
O’Leary Report, and one of America’s best pollsters. Brad, welcome to the program!
Brad O’Leary:
Good to be with you!
Mike:
In your recent book, called America’s War on Christianity, you give quite a few examples of anti-Christian bias in the United States. How strong is this anti-Christian sentiment? And where do you see it manifesting itself most clearly?
Brad:
Well, unfortunately, you have a lot of people who just do not believe in God. And we find it in government, we find it in colleges, we find it in grade schools. Their goal is to replace the power of God with the power of government. They’re just a lot of secular extremists and anti-religious forces that are on a public mission to remove religious faith from our history and our national consequences and you see it at Easter and at Christmas time coming out in its most violent forms.
Mike:
Brad, that makes a lot of sense. People want to deny both the birth and the resurrection of Jesus, so Christmas and Easter as the key points of conflict makes a lot of sense. I’m Mike Farris; we’ll be back next time.
