Official asks for assessment plans

In Milford, a Home School Legal Defense Association member family who had recently moved into the area received a call from a local elementary school counselor, asking them what form of year-end assessment they were going to use. HSLDA advised the family that they were not required to divulge the information and should simply ignore the request.

When the counselor again telephoned the family, HSLDA returned the call, explaining that the family was not required to provide the requested information. The counselor promptly assured us that she understood and would leave the family alone.
