Navy Fills Quota

The United States Navy informed HSLDA that it has filled all of the openings reserved for home educated students in the first fiscal year of a pilot program passed by Congress last year. That program set aside 1,250 recruitment slots per year for home schooled students in each armed service. October 1 begins the pilot program's second fiscal year.
