If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

II Chronicles 7:14

Pray for Congress as it considers the National Assessment Governing Board report. Ask the Lord to use Mike Farris’ testimony before NAGB to turn our leaders’ hearts toward educational freedom for all families. More...

Pray for conservatives’ efforts to restore religious liberty in our country, for unity, clear-sighted vision, and constitutionally sound action. More...

Uphold National Center for Home Education staff as they diligently track federal issues which would affect the right to home school. More...

Pray for our ongoing cases: Donnie C. (KS), Forstrom (NJ), and Newton (TN). More...

Seek the Lord’s blessing upon Patrick Henry College staff as they develop curriculum and policies, start building facilities, being hiring staff, and continue fundraising initiatives. More...

Lift up state organizations and home school lobbyists who are monitoring state legislation. Pray for states still facing legislative battles—Alabama, Louisiana, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas.

Praise the Lord for recent legislative victories in Arizona and Illinois.

Pray that efforts to expand state compulsory attendance laws will be defeated in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Maine, New York, Texas, and Pennsylvania.

Intercede for families facing often-traumatic social services investigations because of false anonymous reports of child abuse or neglect. More...

Lift up families who are struggling with rebellious children, divorce, or natural disasters such as hurricanes and tornadoes.

In the wake of the Littleton, Colorado, shooting, pray for home school families who may be in a position to minister to those affected by this tragedy. And pray the Lord will give direction to parents motivated by this event to begin home schooling. Pray that those parents will prepare thoroughly for and continue faithfully their responsibility to educate their children.

Pray that home schooling seminars and conferences across the country will bless participants and the movement at large.

Ask the Lord to protect and provide for families struggling to continue home schooling amidst difficult challenges—tight finances, opposition from extended family members, serious illness, or death of a loved one.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all Understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6–7
