Ask the Lord to bless those working to pass the Parental Rights Amendment. Pray that the amendment would be effective in securing parents’ right to direct the upbringing and education of their children and in limiting the government’s power to infringe upon this right. (See cover story.)

Praise God for state support groups who, together with HSLDA, work to oppose proposed state regulations that would be burdensome to homeschoolers. Ask the Lord to help attorneys and school officials clear up misunderstandings about truancy laws, reports of neglect, or reports of abuse. (See Across the States and Active Cases.)

Praise Him that the British Parliament has tabled a proposed homeschooling regulation in response to an outcry expressed by homeschoolers and family advocacy groups. (See Around the Globe.)

Thank Him for the faithful work of representatives like Michele Bachmann who have stood strong in support of homeschool liberty. Ask the Lord to continue granting them daily strength, wisdom, and grace to serve Him and defend the right to homeschool. (See Freedom Watch.)

Pray that more homeschooling families who are facing financial difficulties would hear about the Home School Foundation. Thank the Lord for the generous donations that allow widows, single parents, children with special needs, and low-income families to continue homeschooling. (See From the Heart.)

Ask the Lord to bless Generation Joshua’s Student Action Teams as they work toward their goals of training young people to be servant-leaders and electing pro-homeschooling candidates who support parental rights. (See Liberty’s Call.)
