Thank God for granting numerous homeschoolers the freedom to pursue apprenticeships and to explore their vocational leanings as they follow God’s plan for their lives. (See cover story.)

Pray that the Standards to Provide Educational Achievement for Kids (SPEAK) Act does not pass, imposing national education standards which would undermine the freedom and flexibility of homeschooling. (See Freedom Watch.)

Praise God for the recent homeschool victory in E.T. v. Department of Social Services in California, and continue to lift up other homeschooling families currently involved in court proceedings. (See Active Cases.)

Pray for homeschoolers who are seeking God’s will for their vocation following high school. (See Getting There.)

Intercede on behalf of homeschooling families facing unfounded truancy or caseworker investigations. Thank the Lord for protecting homeschooling freedom and parental rights during state legislative sessions across the country this year. (See Across the States.)

Rejoice with families from Spain, who recently received encouragement from conference speaker and international homeschooling consultant Sandra Lovelace. (See From the Heart.)

Praise God for talented Patrick Henry College students and pray that they will continue to develop and use their gifts to impact the arts community. (See About Campus.)

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
