Prayer & Praise

Thank God for blessing homeschoolers with substantial freedom over the last two decades. Pray that families across the United States would remain alert in helping protect and improve their freedom in the face of new and ongoing threats. (See cover story.)

Lift up HSLDA’s Congressional Action Program, and ask for God’s continued blessing on the effort to secure parental rights in our country. Pray that homeschooling families across America would see the need for a strong support network to protect homeschool (See Freedom Watch.)

Give thanks to God for the long-awaited victory in the New York special needs case! Remember to lift up other homeschooling families currently involved in court proceedings. (See Active Cases.)

Intercede for homeschooling families in Germany, who are facing persecution for their choice to teach their children at home. (See Chairman’s View.)

Thank God for the unique opportunities young people homeschooling through high school have to cultivate hospitality and reach out to others with their families. (See Getting There.)

Uphold homeschooling families who are facing deep challenges—perhaps a sudden drop in income, chronic illness, loss of a spouse or child, or a home destroyed by fire.

Rejoice with the parents and students who benefited from the Home School Foundation's Patrick Henry College Scholarship Fund. (See From the Heart.)

Praise God for the long-anticipated TRACS accreditation received by Patrick Henry College in mid-April, as well as this year’s moot court and debate team victories. Lift up PHC students as they head off to summer internships, jobs, and vacations. (See About Campus.)
