How to Access PerX

Quick! How can you get a 20% discount on your family’s stay at one of over 4,000 Choice Hotels inns around the world?

This is not a trick question—some of our members have found the process of accessing our PerX membership discounts a little confusing. So here’s how it works:

When you visit our PerX web page and select the discount you are interested in, you will be asked to provide your active HSLDA membership account number and an email address. (Since PerX is entirely Internet-based at this time, you can only take advantage of the discounts if you have an email account.) Within a few minutes, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to obtain the particular discount. It’s that simple!

We hope that these discounts will help you stretch your homeschooling dollars a little further. Keep watching our PerX web page for further savings!

Thank you for praying!

As our staff processes membership renewals, we sometimes come across comments from members who say that they regularly pray for us. It is hard to express how meaningful this is. We know that without your prayers, we could not effectively accomplish the ministry to which God has called us.

Prayer has been a crucial part of Home School Legal Defense Association since our founding in 1983. The freedoms homeschooling families enjoy today are the direct result of our members’ faithful prayers. Mike Smith often reminds us, “We can do nothing without God.” And, time after time, God has shown His power. He is the ultimate Defender of our member families; we are only His servants—and we want to give God the glory for what HSLDA has accomplished.

WE HAVE
SEEN SOME AMAZING
ANSWERS TO PRAYER
...

Over the years, we have seen some amazing answers to prayer that have encouraged and humbled us. Superintendents’ hearts have changed, legal charges have inexplicably been dropped, and cases have been miraculously resolved.

Did you know that our staff meets every Tuesday and Thursday morning to pray for the organization, its employees, and the needs of those we serve? As you pray for the causes we fight together to preserve, remember that we are praying for all of you, too—for your school days, marriages, relationships with your children, health, provision, and spiritual well-being, as well as for specific requests we receive from you.

Together, we can hope in the Lord, for “we do not wrestle against flesh and blood,” and “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (Ephesians 6:12, II Corinthians 10:4; New King James Version).
