Continue to lift up the battle for parental rights in America and the effort to protect those rights through a constitutional amendment. Ask that God would bring judges into our federal court system who recognize the right of parents to direct their children’s education. Pray that parents would be alert and ready to defend their rights. (See cover story.)

Ask the Lord to grant homeschooling fathers strength and wisdom as they lead their families, build close family relationships, and pass on a legacy of love to their children. (See “Need to Know”)

Uphold Patrick Henry College during this time of leadership transition. Pray for the college’s growth as it continues to pursue its mission of equipping students to influence the culture for Christ. (See “About Campus”)

Intercede for homeschooling families in the midst of unwarranted social services investigations. Pray for passage of state legislation to educate social workers on the United States Constitution and to prevent these intrusions on families. (See “Active Cases”)

Praise God for the opportunity homeschool leaders had to get the latest updates from federal legislators and to meet with their representatives during the National Center for Home Education’s Legislative Summit in March 2006. Pray that more senators and representatives would support homeschooling freedom. (See “Freedom Watch”)

Remember brand-new homeschooling families who are preparing for their first year of teaching at home. Pray for God’s wisdom and provision as they select curriculum, comply with state homeschooling laws, and gear up for busy routines.

Lift up parents who are exploring high school options, such as dual enrollment, to help their students prepare for the future. (See “Getting There”)

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is Godís will for you in Christ Jesus.
