Lincoln County seeks homeschool registration

In September, a Home School Legal Defense Association member family residing in Lincoln County received a form entitled Home School Registration Form from the county superintendent of schools, even though the family had already provided notice to the superintendent of their child's attendance in a homeschool.* Since the family had already complied with state law in providing the required notice, HSLDA advised the family to disregard the form. To date, there has been no follow-up by the county superintendent to the initial request for completion of the form. Other homeschooling families receiving such forms may disregard them as well.
