Pray that HSLDA's new Homeschooling Thru High School program would encourage and equip many families to teach their teens at home through the high school years. (See cover story.)

Lift up our new high school coordinators, Diane Kummer and Becky Cooke, as they research and organize resources for the new website and provide encouragement and counsel to members teaching high schoolers. (See Members Only.)

Thank God for guarding homeschool freedom in state legislatures, from overzealous school officials, and during overly aggressive social services investigations. (See Across the States.)

Uphold National Center for Home Education staff as they lobby Congress on federal issues directly affecting homeschoolers. (See Freedom watch.)

Intercede for HSLDA's active and pending court cases. (See Active cases.)

Praise God for meeting needs through the distribution of Home School Foundation funds and the generosity of our donors. Continue to seek God's blessing on this ministry to needy families. (See From the heart.)

Ask the Lord to give Patrick Henry College a smooth transition to a new school year, enabling incoming freshmen to quickly adjust to college life and equipping faculty and staff with the wisdom and resources to meet the needs of a growing student body. (See About campus.)

Seek God's favor on homeschooling families who are beginning a new school year this fall-that parents would have wisdom as they plan a course of study, that children would encourage their parents with obedience, and that families homeschooling high schoolers would have enthusiasm and confidence.

But I pray to you, O LORD, in the time of your favor; in your great love, O God, answer me with your sure salvation.
