Uphold the work of HSLDA and families across the country as we guard the freedoms on which the right to homeschool is based. Pray that the intent of America's Founding Fathers would be correctly understood, and that the constitutional foundation of our freedoms would be preserved. (See cover story.)

Ask for discernment and success for our litigation team as they defend HSLDA member families in active and pending cases.

Praise God for protecting homeschooling around the nation through legislation and litigation, defending families against overzealous truant officers, and granting homeschoolers favorable media coverage. (See Across the States.)

Intercede for homeschooling moms and dads who are planning for the coming school year amidst family vacations, youth sports, and other summer activities. Pray that God would supply all their needs—including health, finances, and emotional support.

Pray that God would bless the homeschoolers of Romania and Hungary with courage and conviction, so they can remain strong in an uncertain legal climate (See Around the globe.)

Lift up the Home School Foundation's distribution of its Compassion Fund to homeschoolers in other countries. Ask that these grants would greatly encourage and assist home educators who do not experience the same freedoms that we do (See From the heart.)

Seek the Lord's blessing on Patrick Henry College's new growth. Pray that He will bring the needed pledges and donations to enable PHC to break ground for its new student life center (See About campus.)

Remember HSLDA's staffing needs and pray that the Lord would bring just the right people to fill the open positions and facilitate better service to all of our member families.

As for me, I will call upon God, and the LORD shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice.
