Prayer & Praise

HSLDA social services contact policy/A plethora of forms

HSLDA legal inquiries

Intercede for homeschooling families across the country who are being subjected to unconstitutional child welfare investigations. Pray that laws would be changed and judges' hearts turned to protect parental rights and family privacy (cover story).

Seek God's blessing on the Home School Foundation's outreach to homeschoolers both in the United States and around the world. (See "Global connections")

Thank God for protecting homeschooling around the nation through legislation and litigation, defending families against overzealous truant officers, and granting homeschoolers favorable media coverage. (See Across the States)

Uphold HSLDA's National Center for Home Education as it lobbies on behalf of homeschoolers' rights at the federal level ("Generation Joshua growing,").

Ask the Lord to bless returning and incoming Patrick Henry College students as the fall semester approaches, and pray that he would bring in the funds needed for construction of a new 70,000-square-foot student center. (See About Campus)

Pray that Germany's new legal organization, Schuzh, would be able to defend the country's young homeschool movement in the face of a hostile government and limited resources. (See "Deutschland: School instruction in the house,")

Lift up homeschooling mothers who are planning for the coming school year amidst family vacations, youth sports, and other summer activities. Pray that God would give them health, strength, and joy as they serve their families.

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

— Colossians 1:9 (NIV)
