  PRAYER & PRAISE

Seek God's grace and blessing in the coming election year-that government positions would be filled with family-friendly and pro-homeschooling leaders. (See Freedom Watch)

Praise God for protecting homeschool freedom in New Jersey, and ask him to bless the united efforts of homeschooling families and organizations to defeat any other dangerous bills introduced in 2004. (See cover story)

Lift up homeschool families who are reaching out to adopt special needs children and the Home School Foundation's efforts to support them (Home School Foundation).

Thank the Lord for resolving investigations based on anonymous tips, loosening restrictive homeschooling regulations, and guarding families from harmful legislation. (See Across the States)

Pray for our active and pending cases.

Uphold the next generation of homeschoolers and their parents as well as HSLDA's efforts to come alongside them as we launch Generation Joshua. (See "A vision for the Joshua generation,")

Ask God to bring family-friendly changes to the child welfare system. (See "Hope for eliminating anonymous tips,")

Ask God to bless Patrick Henry College's efforts to equip tomorrow's leaders with an education that is outstanding for its Christian worldview and academic excellence. (See About Campus)

Pray that families facing learning disabilities, tight finances, or lack of motivation would find renewed strength.

I lift up my eyes to the hills-where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

- Psalm 121:1-2 (NIV)
