Social workercloses investigation
The Svenson* family of Barbou was contacted by the Sauk County Department of Human Services based on an anonymous tip. Home School Legal Defense Association later discovered that the grandmother, disapproving of the family's homeschooling, had reported to the social worker that the children were having "trouble with their mom."
HSLDA convinced the social worker to close the case after one conversation with Mrs. Svenson, averting any traumatic interviews with the children.
