Praise the Lord for the positive decision handed down in the Stumbo case (Cover Story).
Pray for all those starting their homeschool race this fall. Ask the Lord to strengthen, guide, and encourage them along the way. (See "Ready for the new school year.")
Lift up homeschool graduates who are serving in the U.S. military-pray that God will protect them physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Intercede on behalf of HSLDA's National Center for Home Education staff as they work with Congress on issues that affect homeschooling freedoms. (See "Freedom Watch.")
Thank God for protecting homeschool freedom in state legislatures this spring, from overzealous truancy officers, and in overly aggressive social services investigations. (See "Across the States.")
Uphold our active and pending cases.
Ask God to continue blessing the Home School Foundation's Special Needs Children's Fund.
Seek the Lord's guidance and provision for homeschooling families who are facing difficult circumstances: a military spouse being deployed to an unstable area, an elderly relative needing in-home care, a job change requiring relocation, a new child joining the family, a terminal illness being discovered, or a marriage encountering rough communication.
Lift up Patrick Henry College students and faculty as they enter the fall semester and launch a brand new high school-level moot court league. (See "About Campus.")
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
