National Center Hosts 2003 Summit
March 26, Wednesday

Upon arrival, Michigan attorney David Kallman and North Carolina state leader Jeff Townsend receive their Summit lobbying packets from the National Center Policy Analyst Sam Redfern.

Rebecca Robinson of Vermont reviews her packet and gears up for two days of intensive briefings and lobbying.

National Center Director Tom Washburne (left) and HSLDA President Michael Smith hosted an introductory session Wednesday evening to focus on trends in state and federal legislation.


David Watkins of Minnesota (left) and Kerry Northway of Iowa (right) also took the opportunity given to the leaders to talk with each other about work in their respective states.
