Pray for the United States in the wake of the September 11 terrorist attacks: for our leaders, for healing and restoration, for repentance and forgiveness. Specifically uphold President George W. Bush, his advisors, Congress, America's armed forces, and the leaders of other nations as they seek to eradicate terrorism and bring to justice those behind these destructive acts.

Lift up those who are home schooling in the face of tremendous difficulties. Ask the Lord to bless HSLDA's efforts to help these families through the Widows Curriculum Scholarship Fund, Special Needs Children's Fund and Members Belping Members Fund. (See Cover Story)

Ask the Lord to bless National Center for Home Education staff as they monitor federal issues, lobby for important home school protections, and track United Nations treaty activities. (See Freedom Watch)

Intercede for families who are facing opposition to homw schooling from close friends or extended family members. Pray for strength, wisdom, and protection as they persevere in trying to provide the best education possible for each of their children.

Lift up Patrick Henry College students as they prepare for final exams and Christmas break. Ask the Lord to bless the college community and provide for all PHC's needs.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.
