Pray for current state legislative battles: our computer tracking service, StateNet, estimates that nearly 150,000 bills will be considered this year. Pray that no dangerous bills will slip through the cracks and that helpful bills will pass. Lift up state leaders, HSLDA attorneys, and state legislators guarding home school freedoms. (See Cover Story)

Uphold those planning home school conferences and curriculum fairs around the country. Pray that these events would benefit attendees and the home school movement. (See Speaking List)

Ask the Lord to guide our steps, guard our liberties, and grant favor with officials as the National Center works with the 107th Congress to protect and advance family freedoms. Uphold our nation's leaders and their families in prayer. More...

Thank the Lord for positive outcomes in several recent court cases. As other cases continue, ask the Lord to grant peace to the families, wisdom to attorneys, and favor with government officials/judges. (See Active and Pending Cases)

Ask the Lord to encourage new home school families feeling overwhelmed, veterans growing weary, and those facing difficult circumstances.

Pray for Patrick Henry College as students and faculty begin a second semester and the school launches a new Classical Liberal Arts major.

Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

James 5:16-18 (NKJ)
