These are just a few of the mothers and children who have been helped by the Widows Cirriculum Scholarship Fund.

Widows Curriculum Scholarship Fund

James 1:27
. . . Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress . . .

In March 2000, a home schooling fatherŐs generosity and vision led to the beginning of a special ministry —the Widows Curriculum Scholarship Fund.

The response from Home School Legal Defense Association members, as well as non-members, has been warm and overflowing. Even children have generously and sacrificially given from their small savings.

Since March, Home School Legal Defense Foundation (HSLDF) has helped over 130 widows in need with funds for books and other teaching materials. Every year, we receive many contacts from members who have lost their spouses to death. We are so pleased that we can now meet the needs of widows and orphans in such a tangible way.

Any home schooling mother who has lost a husband to death and has not remarried may apply for this scholarship.

To Apply: Contact the Widows Curriculum Fund Administrator at (540) 338-5600 or widowsfund@hslda.org.

To Donate to the Fund: Send your tax-deductible gift to HSLDF Widows Fund, P.O. Box 3000, Purcellville, VA 20134.

HSLDA has assumed all costs associated with administering this program. Therefore, 100 percent of every gift goes directly to helping widows and their children.
