We dedicate this issue to the hard work and loving sacrifice of home schooling moms everywhere.
Our tribute is composed of three parts: First, to help us with this article, we asked several home schooling children from around the country to write down what they appreciate about their mothers. Second, home school dad Jerry Thorpe describes the appreciation night the men of his local support group planned for their wives. And, lastly, home school mother of 10, Vickie Farris, collaborates with her daughter, Jayme, to bring moms encouragement in an excerpt from their book, A Mom Just Like You.
