WEST VIRGINIA

In-Formed Refusal

Hardy County has been a hotbed of unpleasantness lately. Most of this seems to trace back to a single public school official who has made harassing home schoolers her personal business. We urge our member families to pray for those who persecute them.

Each spring, the West Virginia Department of Education sends a form out to all school districts, insisting they try to make the home schoolers fill it out and send it in. We remind our member families that they are under no obligation to do so, and suggest you simply return the blank form to your school district with a note urging them to contact your attorney, Scott Somerville, if they need any information about your family.
