Senate Bill 71: Lowers Compulsory Attendance Age from 7 to 6

Summary:

This bill is a companion bill to House Bill 42.

Both bills would lower the compulsory school attendance age from 7 to 6. They would also make a slight change in the ages at which a child is permitted to enroll in a public elementary school or public school kindergarten.
