Senate Bill 6: Creates Optional Pre-Kindergarten Program

Summary:

This bill would create an optional pre-kindergarten program for children who are 4 and 5 years of age. Such programs are often made mandatory by later legislation.

HSLDA's Position:

HSLDA opposes any expansion of state control over education. This bill should be opposed.
