Senate Bill 2222: Requires the Board of Education to Adopt a Sexual Abuse Curriculum for Students in Pre-K Through 5th Grade
Sponsors:
Senator Nancy Adams Collins
Summary:

Among other things, this bill would require the State Board of Education to adopt and implement a sexual abuse curriculum for students in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. It appears that students in nonpublic schools, including those in home instruction programs, would be affected.

HSLDA's Position:

HSLDA opposes state-designed sex education mandated for homeschool students. This bill should be opposed.
