Senate Bill 120: Creates Alaska Parents as Teachers Act

Summary:

This bill would create the Alaska Parents as Teachers Act for children under 5 years of age. This program would be developed and implemented by the Department of Education and Early Development.

HSLDA's Position:

HSLDA considers this to be an unnecessary intrusion of the government into the family unit. This bill should be opposed.
