This bill would allow a child protection worker to enter any "facility, program, or school" and allow them to examine all records pertaining to children who attend, employees, former employees, and the person alleged to have committed child abuse without a warrant. Since the term "program" is neither defined by current law nor the bill, it is possible that this bill could result in Iowa law allowing social workers to conduct searches of competent private instruction "programs" without a warrant.
