House Bill 936: Creates Early Child Development Centers

This bill would authorize the State Board of Education to plan, establish, and operate demonstration model early child development centers to work with local school districts or other public agencies to concentrate on the cognitive and affective development of children 3 to 6 years of age. The centers are to experiment with the children to test and evaluate ideas about early childhood development.
