Summary:

This bill would create the “Mississippi Public Charter Schools Act of 2012.” It includes provisions for creation of virtual public charter schools in addition to brick-and-mortar charter schools.

This bill should be monitored. An amendment to avoid confusing virtual charter schools with home instruction programs should be pursued.
