Senate File 106: Calls for Special Session on Duties of State Superintendent
Sponsors:
Management Council
Summary:

Senate File 106 would call for a special session to review the duties of the Office of State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Last year's attempt to transfer these duties was struck down as unconstitutional by the Wyoming Supreme Court this January. Senate File 106 is a response to that court ruling to determine what duties of the State Superintendent may be constitutionally transferred.
