Summary:

Senate Bill 789 would allow homeschool students to participate in extracurriculur activities at the public school the child would have attended. Homeschool students would have to meet all participation requirements, including grade point averages and fees. SB 789 would give the Department of Education authority to adopt the procedures for allowing participation.
