Senate Bill 614: Custody Rights for Grandparents

Summary:

Senate Bill 614 determines that if a child resides inside the grandparent’s residence for five or more years and the grandparent is a significant caretaker of the child, the grandparent has equal standing with the child's parent or legal guardian.
