Senate Bill 41: Permits Accredited Homeschool Students to Participate in Interscholastic Activities at a Private School
Sponsors:
Senator DysonSummary:
This bill would permit homeschool students in a program "accredited by a recognized accrediting body" to participate in interscholastic activities at a religious or other private school, if approved by the school. Since homeschool programs are hardly ever accredited, this bill will not create any opportunities for the vast majority of homeschool students.
