Summary:

Senate Bill 39 proposes amendments to Utah's homeschool law. Specifically, SB 39 eliminates the annual requirement to file an affidavit, enables both a local school board and charter school board to excuse a student to homeschool, eliminates instructional requirements for homeschool students, and modifies the process of assessing homeschool students transferring into public school.
