Senate Bill 279: Creates a Tax Deduction for Instruction-Related Expenses

While homeschools would not participate in the scholarship program that would be established, a parent or guardian of a homeschool student would be eligible for a tax deduction of up to $2,000 per child per year for instruction-related expenses, beginning with the 2013-2014 school year.
