Senate Bill 2737: Prohibits Implementing the Common Core State Standards

Summary:

This bill would prohibit the State Board of Education and the Department of Education from implementing the Common Core State Standards and prohibit the Department of Education from expending federal funds to track students or release information to outside entities. It would also repeal state law which provides for the development of a state longitudinal data system.
