Senate Bill 2632: Prohibits Implementation of the Common Core Standards

Summary:

This bill would prohibit the State Board of Education and the Department of Education from implementing the Common Core State Standards. It would require the State Superintendent of Education to withdraw from the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC). It would also prohibit the State Board and Department of Education from expending federal funds to track students beyond their K-12 education.
