Senate Bill 2457: Driver Education Course Required to get an Intermediate Driver's License
Sponsors:
Senator Dawkins
Summary:

This bill would require that an intermediate driver’s license be issued to someone only if that person had completed a driver’s education course approved by the Department of Education or taught by a person qualified by the Department of Education. This could exclude homeschool students from the course, because the Department of Education could limit approved courses to those taught in public school by public school teachers.
