Senate Bill 2395: Makes Prekindergarten Mandatory on a Phased-In Basis

This bill would create the "Early Learning Collaborative Act of 2013" to implement a mandatory prekindergarten on a phased-in basis.
HSLDA's Position:
HSLDA believes that parents, not state officials, are best able to determine when their child is ready for formal education. This bill should be opposed.
