Senate Bill 2229: Creates Prekindergarten Programs in Some School Districts

This bill would amend existing law to phase in prekindergarten programs. These programs would be voluntary except for children in under-performing school districts, where they would be mandatory. HSLDA opposes the expenditure of state funds for such early childhood programs.
