Senate Bill 190: Prohibits the Adoption or Implementation of the Common Core Standards

This bill would prohibit the Alabama State Board of Education from adopting and the Department of Education from implementing the state common core standards.
HSLDA's Position:
HSLDA believes that these standards may eventually be used to discriminate against homeschoolers. This bill should be supported.
