Senate Bill 1743: Providing for the Denial of Driver's Licenses for Truants

House File 1743, if passed, would require a student's application for a driver's license to be signed by the parent and accompanied by certification from his or her school district that he or she has graduated or, among other options, "enrolled in a home education program that satisfies the requirements of all state laws governing such courses."
