House Bill 765: Creates the Individualized Education Fund Program
Sponsors:
Representative Crawford
Summary:

This bill would create the Individualized Education Fund Program for special needs students who have an IEP or a 504 accommodation. The Department of Education would provide funds to parents to use for educational expenses at participating nonpublic schools which have agreed to comply with requirements of the program. While this program may be well intended, it has the potential to increase state control over education.
