House Bill 637: Requires All Students to Take a Personal Finance Course

This bill would require all students, including those in a home instruction program, to take and pass a course in personal finance before earning a high school diploma. Current state law does not impose any required subjects on homeschoolers.
On February 13, 2013, this bill was amended in the House, so that it now only applies to public schools.
