Summary:

House Bill 59 is an omnibus budget bill that includes language to amend laws that require superintendents to provide opportunities for homeschool students in their district to participate in extracurricular activities offered by the school they would be normally assigned to.

The bill also makes homeschool students eligible to participate in the post-secondary enrollment options ("PSEO") program which pays for dual enrollment college courses at participating Ohio institutions of higher learning.
