House Bill 5567: Establishes a Comprehensive Children's Mental Health Plan
Sponsors:
Rep. Juan R. Candelaria
Summary:

This bill would establish a comprehensive children’s mental health plan “to identify and manage mental health issues in children eighteen years old or less.” It is unclear whether homeschooled children would be affected by this. However, it would apparently involve mandatory mental health screening of school-age children, something that would include children receiving home instruction.
