House Bill 3582 would require the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to issue a report on the feasibility and costs associated with non-public school students and home schooled students voluntarily taking the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) exam. The report was to be due by December 31, 2011. But the bill has not yet passed.
